Atarazanas Hotel

I had a relaxing, enjoyable three-night stay at Sea You Hotel Port València during the marathon. The room was quite spacious and had a lovely view of the church. It was peaceful despite the location, which mattered a lot before the race. Fresh white linens and towels were provided, and housekeeping came daily. The kettle in the room was a thoughtful touch after long, busy days. Thanks to the team for a comfortable stay. I’d happily choose this hotel again.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Breakfast was basic but did the job, and the coffee was great. A big thank you to Laura at reception for her five-star service. She was very friendly, knew the area inside out and was always keen to help when I needed something. My only regret was the sewage-like smell on the street, though that seemed to be down to the city, not the hotel.

The location is handy, with plenty to do on foot and the lively beach strip a 12-15 minute walk away. The beds were average, no complaints there. Breakfast had the basics, but the loud conference-room-style space wasn’t comfortable for eating. My main problem was the service at the sky bar, which was one reason we booked this place. My partner and I waited about 30 minutes to order drinks, while people off the street who seemed to be friends with the bartender were served ahead of us, despite us being paying guests. The bartender also left to smoke for five minutes while a big crowd was waiting. We gave up and went to a nearby bar, where we had a much better time. I mentioned the poor service politely to the front desk, but got only a couple of noncommittal sounds and no real response. It didn’t seem like they cared.

The location is great, and the staff are friendly. The rooms are really comfortable, and I especially enjoyed having a sauna every day.
