Kirei Old Town Burguerini

The owner provided excellent customer service. I'd definitely book this property again.

The flats are honestly amazing, calm and cozy, with everything you need. The WhatsApp helpline is always available to help.

The location was excellent, right in the center and just steps from Place Mercat, but tucked away and quiet. The building was beautiful and well kept, and the apartment was very clean. The lift was a plus. It had potential, but felt characterless. The kitchen had a kettle and an Italian moka pot, but no coffee, sugar, or tea. For a three-day stay we had to buy everything, while other places we'd visited had at least some basics or a capsule coffee machine. There were no mirrors except the one in the shower room, and we didn't have enough soap or toilet paper for the whole stay. The room access code never worked. We spent over 40 minutes outside trying different codes from the owner or company, and eventually someone had to come. He was very kind and helpful, and opened the sofa bed for us since there were no instructions. Communication was only through WhatsApp, maybe a bot. When we couldn't get in, I was told to turn off voice messages. They asked for photos and videos to prove we were at the right door, and we were treated like idiots. I think it was AI, not a real person. My daughter was sick and we'd just left the hospital, but when I mentioned that, there was no empathy. Communication had been strange since booking. When I asked questions, I was told to reread the instructions and room description, or scroll up and read again. Almost nothing got a clear answer, though the information about nearby parking was useful, and having two parking options nearby was a plus. The price didn't match the quality. One small suggestion: a sliding door could separate the bedroom. Despite all that, we had a wonderful time in Valence and loved it. Communication needs to feel more personal.

For six people over three days, they gave us only two rolls of toilet paper. There weren't any blankets either, and the water heater was incredibly noisy. We had to switch it off so we could sleep.
