Casa Rural Asturias la Tienda de Villanueva

The village was a real highlight, especially with children around; they had plenty of company and a great time. From the house, it’s easy to reach lovely beaches, charming villages, and the mountains. We spent five days here in August, and the house met our expectations, with every detail covered and nothing missing. Juan was an excellent host and a real professional. A warm greeting to him, and I highly recommend the stay.

We loved the peaceful village and its little park and football field, which are handy for young children. The house sits in the village center beside a square and church, with lovely views. It’s also easy to get onto the A8 for trips toward Oviedo or Santander. We stayed for a week in July; everything was very clean, and the kitchen drawers had all kinds of utensils. Highly recommended.

We came back to Juan’s house this year and found it just as clean and well equipped as before. The weather wasn’t perfect, but we still had a wonderful time exploring nearby. On our first visit, we stayed three days over a long weekend, and the house exceeded our expectations. It’s functional, spotless, and peaceful, and the service was excellent. Thanks so much for everything. There are beautiful mountain views, and beaches in both Asturias and Cantabria are close by. Playa de la Franca is one of the nearest, a pretty beach that’s especially good for families with children. Potes, Llanes, and San Vicente de la Barquera are also within easy reach. Highly recommended!

We were a group of 10 and stayed over the December long weekend, and we were all very comfortable. The patio and courtyard were lovely, and the kitchen and rest of the house were immaculate and exceptionally clean. The owner is undeniably kind and welcomed us with a lovely gift. The Sierra del Cuera views are spectacular, and when the fog rolls in, it’s a sign that rain is almost certain. It does rain quite a bit, but that’s part of what gives Asturias its distinctive green landscape. I can’t think of a single bad thing to say. Juan is a true professional and 100% trustworthy. The house has everything you could need, and I highly recommend this fantastic place to everyone. I hope to come back soon.
