Hiberus

The hotel is huge, and all the rooms look over the river and bridge. Ours was 30 square meters, with a fantastic view through a large window and blinds that open and close automatically. Staff were friendly and spoke English, and there’s good bus service nearby. We booked parking and used it. There was a fridge but no kettle, so we brought our own. The pool wasn't operating, so I couldn't use it. The hotel didn't seem full when we visited, and for what we paid, it was good value.

The restaurant is really good. The hotel sits on the edge of the city and has a great view across the river toward town.

I was there for a four-day business trip. It’s a big, fairly clean hotel, with lots of empty space that may be used for conferences, but not even a small gym, which is unusual for a four-star place. The outdoor pool was closed when I visited in March. At checkout, the clerk tried to bill me twice for breakfasts that were already included in the rate my business host had paid in advance. I insisted they check, and they changed their mind. It came across as very unprofessional.

Breakfast was great, and the pillows were really good too. I should have checked beforehand, but there was no window to open and no tea or coffee in the room. The mini fridge also wasn't stocked properly.
