The staff were very helpful, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. A good base for exploring.

The restaurant was the highlight for us, with great service and even better food. There was just one menu, with soup or salad, a main and dessert. The hotel is clean, convenient and affordable, but keep in mind the rooms have two separate beds that can't be pushed together. We asked for a double and didn't get one.

The Alameda is in a quiet street, only 250m from the beach. The neighborhood has restaurants, coffee shops and markets nearby. Azpi-enea, next to the hotel, serves very good food at affordable prices, with good service. There's also a restaurant for breakfast and a paid parking lot. The building has three floors, and the rooms are old-fashioned but comfortable, with small balconies and bathrooms fitted with both bathtubs and showers.

It's a perfect location, just a 3 minute walk from the beach and train station. The room was very clean, but noisy because it's an old building, and the bed was uncomfortable. For coffee, I recommend kafe native in the food market.
