The staff were polite, and the room was clean. I thought the price was appropriate, especially compared with places I’d stayed before. My wife found the bed less comfortable than she expected, and my only other drawback was how loudly the kitchen staff talked during breakfast.

The constant power cuts meant I had to take the stairs up to my room on the 4th floor. Ongoing construction work also made me leave the next day. I was very disappointed that none of this was mentioned when I called before booking.

I was really disappointed on my checkout day. If you pay cash, make sure you get a receipt, and if you transfer money, keep a screenshot of the transaction. They took a picture, then said they didn’t have it, charged me twice, and gave me a hard time.

Maintenance could be better. There are lots of shops on the ground floor, while the hotel occupies floors three through seven or eight. The location is great.

The staff were warm and professional, and the location worked really well for us. We were also able to leave our luggage and valuables there while we went camping in Afar, and they were looked after safely. From the start, communication was great: Abel shared everything I needed and arranged our pickup on the hotel shuttle from the airport. My family and I were very pleased with our stay while touring Ethiopia, and we'll come back. Thank you for the wonderful service.
