The food was tasteless and poorly prepared, and the waiter made the meal even more disappointing. Service was slow and inattentive, with little basic courtesy. The whole dining experience left a sour impression, and I wouldn’t choose this hotel again if food mattered to me.

I especially liked the Ethiopian injira with diced meat, and the food in general was great. The staff were welcoming and friendly, with good customer service and a readiness to help. The hotel has a lovely view, particularly at night. It’s a nice, affordable place with well maintained facilities, and a good option if you’re visiting Addis Ababa and want somewhere near town.

The bathrooms were unusable, with water running everywhere and a toilet that wouldn’t flush. There were spiderwebs on the wall and it never seemed to get cleaned. The worst hotel I’ve ever seen.
