Shitaye Suite Hotel

Shitaye Suite Hotel is right in the middle of Bole city, with a very professional team. Tentena was especially helpful, giving me accommodation and travel guidance throughout the trip. I plan to stay there again on my next visit to Addis Ababa.

The free airport shuttle and nearby location make Shitaye Suite Hotel convenient. It's clean and modern, with spacious rooms, a good breakfast and friendly staff who make you feel welcome. It generally feels safe, though at night it's better to arrange transport through the hotel. I'd also confirm the booking ahead of time. Good value for money, and it feels like a home away from home.

The staff were very friendly and helped with everything I needed, including answering all my questions. This hotel was clean, organized and fairly affordable, with room options ranging from singles and doubles to family rooms. There's also a large shared floor that can accommodate up to three families. The rooms had everything I needed, about the standard of an IBIS or similar hotel, and the airport is nearby. One caution: the area isn't safe at night. Don't walk alone or use taxis from unknown sources. I asked the hotel to arrange transport, which is what I'd recommend. I highly recommend the hotel.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, which partly made up for the room's shortcomings. The room itself needs attention, including the bedding and towels. The bedding smelled, there was only a small bar of soap, no kettle, the TV didn't work, and the safe was out of order. There was no air-conditioning, and the area didn't feel safe enough to leave the windows open.
