Grand Palace Hotel was a nice place to arrive in and get used to the city. The reception is elegant, the kitchen stays open 24/7, the breakfast menu is delicious and the staff are really friendly. We stayed twice while traveling around Ethiopia, and it worked perfectly to leave our big suitcases there while we went north and south. The rooms were the issue. Our family room suited our needs, but it needed more things, especially in the bathrooms: there was no floor mat, hand towels or hand soap holders. The extra duvets in the cupboard for when it gets cold, and it does, didn't have duvet covers. They also said there was a safe box, but there wasn't one, so they had to bring one. I shared all this feedback with the manager. When we came back after our two-week trip, none of it had been fixed. These seem easy to sort out, and I hope the hotel does so soon.

The WiFi was DEFINITELY better than at other nearby places, at least 300 Mbps. The hotel is beautiful, with better amenities than others around. It's central, close to touristy places and the happening part of town. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the authentic coffee was a nice touch.

The bathroom is on the small side, and they provide too few toiletries. The hotel itself has awesome infrastructure, with polite staff and reception that gave me all the information properly. Food and service were good, and the room was clean.

At the grand palace Hotel, the price was very fair and the staff were great and friendly. My room was clean and neat, with a nice shower. I had a positive experience and highly recommend it.
