A relaxed, good value spot for a group getaway. Grand West Villas has spacious apartment-style rooms, a nice pool, and grounds that work well for small functions. It feels comfortable and suits families well, around a 3.5-star stay.

I booked three villas, and two had bedbugs. The rooms weren't clean, and one bathroom had thumbtacks nailed into the floor. I reported it at the front desk at 5pm and was told someone would come in five minutes, but there was no response by 10pm, so I had to follow up again. When I asked for the supervisor, I was told she wasn't available. The staff were rude while receiving guests. This isn't a friendly place to stay, and booking it for a vacation would be a waste of money.

We arrived late, after 5pm, worn out from the day's activities and travelling with two toddlers. Our room was open and not ready: there were no bed sheets, and the bins still had rubbish from the previous guests. I had to go back to reception to report it. We waited for housekeeping to prepare the room so I could finally put my babies to sleep.

The mattress was dirty and crawling with bugs, and there were live bugs in the fridge too. The toilet leaked, and the shower gave only a trickle of minimally warm water. We had no blankets, and when my husband asked, he was given only two towels. There were no remotes for the TV or AC. Reception staff were fine in person, but no one answered when we tried calling. The photos speak for themselves. I don't recommend this place.

Affordable and nice for families or friends. It was clean, the food was okay, and there was plenty of parking. Shops and restaurants are nearby.
