We hadn't planned to stop, but our Campervan had mechanical trouble. The studio room worked out perfectly, with a mini kitchen so we could cook some meals. The owners were incredibly kind and even helped translate between us and the nearby garage. The shower had loads of hot water and was one of the strongest we've used. Thanks for all the help.

We were unwell and ended up staying in, so we didn't get to explore Béthune, though the place seemed well situated. The property itself was peaceful and clearly well cared for. Our suite was lovely and had everything we needed, and before we arrived the owner had emailed links to help us plan our time in town. They were very friendly and showed us to the room. Finding Les Béthunoises was easy, and the car park across the road had payment machines with an English option. Getting the key from the safe was simple too. Breakfast, from 7:30am, was fresh and generous. We'd happily recommend it and hope to return.

The centre, with its nice restaurants, is very close. The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast felt a little meagre, perhaps because of the covid restrictions. Showering was awkward, since you have to stand in the bath and there isn't a holder for the shower.

We were just a two minute walk from the square, which made the central location really convenient. The staff were so welcoming and did more than expected to meet our needs. And breakfast in the morning was lovely. A beautiful little boutique hotel!

A distinctive, lovely hotel, and a great stop for Calais. The owner was so friendly and helpful, even putting together a takeaway breakfast because we had to leave early.
