We loved having the hosts' cats, Lizzy, Moustache & Inky, around to pet, and sometimes their rabbit Cosmo as well. The room had an enchanting French historic look, cozy beds, and a big walk-in shower. The home-cooked dinners with the hosts were a highlight. Breakfast was Continental and zero-waste, with you choosing what you'd like in advance. The hosts are kind, accommodating, and helpful with local tips for travelers. They speak French and English, and the wife also speaks Nederlands.

The bed was extremely comfortable, and we really enjoyed our short visit with Laurent and Nathalie. Dinner at the table d’hôte and the delicious breakfast the next morning made our first stay at Les Secrets des Loges a lovely one. I'm sure we'll be back.

The fresh, home-cooked dinner with Nathalie and Laurent was delicious, as was breakfast before our crossing the next morning. They were also so accommodating with our little boy, who had a wonderful stay. We stopped here on our way home from a holiday in Belgium and hadn't expected the place to be so spectacular. We were welcomed warmly as soon as we arrived, and loved the décor. We'll definitely come back. Thank you!

Having breakfast beside the family's lounge and sharing the sitting room with their cats made this feel like home. There were thoughtful little touches everywhere, and a home-cooked meal from the talented chef, Laurent, with conversation around the table was an option too. I spent five days here and felt part of the family. Nathalie and Laurent greeted me warmly as soon as I stepped through the lovely building's beautiful original front door. Thank you to them and their lovely daughters!

We were cycling from London > Paris and stopped here along the way. It's a quiet 20 min cycle from Calais port, and they have a secure garage for bikes, so it's great for cyclists, though non-cyclists would enjoy it too. The rooms were lovely, very clean, and had great attention to detail. There are two very cute cats who won't bother you if you don't like cats. We arrived too late for the evening meal, but breakfast was delicious. The owners are the loveliest, and this is the best b&b. It's in a great location opposite the very grand theatre. Thank you, Natalia & Laurent!! 🩷🩷
