The gardens are lovely, with several levels, and still beautiful in fall. We only wish we'd stayed longer. The photos really don't capture the place, which feels like living in a little chateau almost attached to the castle. Get the breakfast too: there's a great spread in the kitchen, with eggs, cheeses, meats, yogurt, jams, fresh bread, juice, coffee, fruit, cereal and more.

It was much more spacious than we expected, and felt like a real home that my family clearly loved and enjoyed. The setting and building are stunning, beyond what the already beautiful photos can show. The owners are lovely, and seemed almost as delighted by our reaction as we were. I'm very fussy, but I can't recommend it highly enough.

A peaceful, really nice spot, with a garden that looks out toward the old city and its castle walls.

We were welcomed by a pleasant host and felt very comfortable in this well-equipped holiday home. Its location is great, and the garden is a lovely place to unwind. Parking is on the street, so expect to search a little. The beds were unfortunately very uncomfortable, and the bathrooms have no separate doors, so they need a lot of airing to clear the moisture. Still, highly recommended.
