We wound up here after our car broke down, with the AA arranging our stay. The staff were friendly, especially a blonde lady whose name I regret forgetting. Dogs are welcome for 5 euros per dog per night. We stayed three nights, possibly longer than most guests, since it seems to be mainly a conference hotel. It was deserted at the weekend. The rooms were clean but very basic, with no tea or coffee-making facilities, though that's not unusual in France. The hotel is in the industrial estate part of the French commune of Sesson. A ten-minute walk gets you to some lovely parks, a couple of restaurants and a boulangerie. There's also a medium-sized shopping complex behind the hotel, with a big supermarket and lots of restaurants.

I needed somewhere functional to sleep for a night, and the Brit Hotel was a great fit for my trip to Rennes for a meeting at the university. It was very convenient for the Beaulieu site. The desk manager made me feel welcome and was friendly and helpful. This isn't a luxury resort, but if you just want a no-frills bed for the night, I'd highly recommend it.

The hotel was clean and neat, with a nice entrance, and it's in a pleasant area near the mall and restaurants. The restaurant's food was good, especially the dessert, which was so yummy 😋.

It looks less impressive outside than it does inside. The beds were really comfortable, and the staff were lovely.
