We spent a week in this cottage and really enjoyed it. It was lovely and comfortable, and the owners made us feel very welcome. I’d recommend it.

There’s plenty to explore nearby, including nice walks you can do on foot. The terrace is a great place to unwind, with clear views across the lake to Puy de Dôme. Inside, the cottage is lovely and practical, with everything we needed. The welcome was warm and friendly. If you’re after a pleasant stay, this is a good choice.

We could enjoy hiking and skiing at Super Besse and Mont-Dore, about 20-25 minutes away, then come back to somewhere quiet in the evenings, away from the resort crowds. Catherine welcomed us warmly. The cottage itself was spotless, beautifully set up, and the big terrace had a wonderful view of the lake and the Sancy mountains. It was just right for us. We’ll be back!

We rented Gîte Belagaita 2 for a week in May. The sunny terrace has a view I won’t forget, and the location worked really well for cycling, walks, and fishing. The gîte is modern, roomy, and very clean. The owner was so welcoming and kind.

We came away won over by how beautiful and varied the region is, and the owners gave us helpful hiking tips. They were very kind and welcoming. The gîte was comfortable, and the view over the lake and the Sancy massif was magnificent. We had a great stay.
