Château de Passières

I was impressed by the staff, who were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the restaurant served varied, creative, delicious food. Breakfast also had a wide selection. My room was simple and modern, and everything in it worked perfectly. The lounge, corridors, and stairs still have the feel of an old building, fitting this lovely little historic castle. Outside, the pool and grounds were kept in excellent condition. The tennis court is the exception: it's no longer in good shape and is being used to grow the many delicious fresh herbs for the restaurant kitchen. The boule court is ready for a game. Hikers traveling with donkeys or horses can keep them at the equestrian center across the road.
