The owner is a gem. The food is excellent, and the rooms are great, all in a very nice village. It's simple and affordable, with excellent value.

Chichilianne is a tiny, very quiet village. From there, it's a two-hour walk to "Pas de l'aiguile," or you can spend a whole day hiking around 2000 m high Mont Aiguille.

The Gîte du Randonneur in Chichiliane was a lovely place to finish our sunny trek across the Vercors highlands, and we stayed for two nights. Mont Aiguille views and a fantastic location made it a great stop. We were greeted warmly, and the attentive, cheerful staff quickly made us feel at home. The hearty meals were delicious, and our room was clean and comfortable. We'd happily recommend it.
