Best Western Hôtel Les Beaux Arts

The location works well if you need to be near the railway station, just a five minute walk away. The hotel and bedrooms were very clean, and the rooms were big for this type of hotel. We appreciated the staff's hospitality and how they accommodated our requests.

The breakfast was good, and the attached restaurant is excellent. We’ve been stopping here for years on our way south. It’s a slightly quirky place, formerly a Best Western, with fair prices and friendly staff. Parking is secure, though getting into the space can be a bit tight. And the lift has the best message I’ve ever heard while going up. A good pick for an authentic French stay.

We stayed in a huge suite as a family of five, with children aged 3 to 7, during a journey. It was good value, and the kitchen area with an oven came in handy, though there were no pots or pans. The decor felt tired and run down, and the room could have been cleaner. Still, the price and location made it worthwhile for a short stopover, and we’d stay again. Compiègne was lovely, with the prettiest part of town just around the corner. There was a public underground car park opposite, paid on exit, but the signs were unclear, so a satnav and a sharp eye helped.

The red walls were a surprise, and I had to press a button to turn on the hallway lights. I stayed two nights at the Best Western hotel Les Beaux. The room was fine and clean, and my company uses this hotel as its regular base when we work at the French office. A good stay.
