Jiva Hill Resort

I’ve returned to Jivahill several times over the past decade, for stays, brunches and dinners, and I even held my wedding reception here a few years ago. The scenery and quiet are a big part of why I keep coming back. It feels like good quality for the money. Fabulous 5 Star Hotel.

The rooms are always spotless and welcoming, and the food is incredible. I’ve been coming to Jiva for a couple of years, and it’s become my happy place when I need to rest and recharge. The people who work here make it feel special, with so much care in the little details and service that goes above and beyond. It feels like home away from home, only better. I can’t picture choosing anywhere else for a peaceful weekend, and I can’t wait to return.

The food was a real highlight for us. Every restaurant dish was full of flavor and cooked just right, and we’re not easy to impress when dining. Our room was spacious, with a generous closet, blackout curtains, and very comfortable beds. The outdoor kids’ area was a big hit with our daughter, too. We’re Americans who stay at five-star hotels often, and Jiva Hill was exceptional from beginning to end. Reception, the door staff, the restaurant team and the food and beverage director all went out of their way to give us a high standard of care. We also needed a sitter so we could go hiking. It took a little extra time to arrange, but the front desk staff kindly stepped in and were amazing. Our 3.5-year-old adored Amélie and kept asking for her afterward, saying she’d had such a great time. We’ll absolutely be back.

A wonderfully calm place, surrounded by greenery, with lovely views that include Mont Blanc. The rooms are luxurious, the food choices are great, and the service is wonderful. A beautiful resort for a quiet break. The pictures are views from the room.
