The greens were good, so we carried on and ended up having a very nice round. Still, the €58 greenfee seems steep for this sort of course. I only played the golf course. The sand traps looked as if they hadn't been raked all season, probably because there was very little sand in them, and the grass along the edges hadn't been cut. By hole three, the maintenance was so poor I was thinking of quitting.

I was surprised there was no air conditioner in the room, and it was so warm I couldn't sleep. The only cooling was a floor-standing fan.

The prices make this especially hard to accept. The food may be good, but it looks like the employees haven't been paid for months, and some can no longer make ends meet. They still have rent, car payments, and insurance to cover, yet that doesn't seem to matter to whoever is responsible. I wouldn't recommend eating somewhere that treats its servers as if they aren't people.
