The owners were so attentive and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. We had a wonderful time in this charming cottage, where everything felt thoughtfully planned. We'd recommend it without hesitation.

We slept really well in this fantastic gîte, and the owners are excellent. While passing through the Île d'Oléron, we loved this charming place just steps from the ocean. If you're visiting this beautiful island, La Belle Insulaire is definitely a place to stay!

The woods and beach are only a few minutes away on foot, which completes the setting and makes this an ideal place for a lovely stay. We had a superb time at La Belle Insulaire, and Marianne and Xavier welcomed us wonderfully. The house is beautiful, stays cool even when it’s hot outside, and is very well insulated. It also has all the equipment and utensils needed for cooking. Fantastic!

There are plenty of superb walks nearby, and the house is so well placed, close to the sea and in the national forest. It’s very pleasant and has everything you need. The owners were very welcoming, and we had a wonderful stay. We’ll definitely be back. ^^

Time flies on a weekend here, and the beautiful island really lives up to its name. Xavier and Marianne are wonderful, and we even got some sunshine. Thank you both for a fantastic weekend!
