Roger runs a well-kept village house without any airs, and he's kind and knowledgeable. He's also a recognized Stevenson expert. The room was simple but comfortable, and the value for money was excellent. It's a real peaceful haven, right where lots of hiking trails meet.

We arrived early because it was raining, and Roger was kind enough to let us in. He welcomed us with a big smile and suggested two events happening in town that day. We went to one, a book signing at the library. The room was spacious, with an old-house feel in the bedroom and a much more modern bathroom. Roger has kept as much of the house's original character as he could. He'd even bought gluten-free bread for my breakfast. Just the kind of stay we like. Many thanks.

The house's atmosphere was one of our best memories. It's an old Cévennes home, with furniture and decor that take you about 40 years back, but the room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Roger was adorable, and served us croissants he'd just picked up. Thanks again!
