AppartHôtel Elite Forbach Centre

We booked while already on the road, and the owner sorted everything out over the phone. They sent us the entry code for both the parking gate and our room. The bed was very comfortable and the place was quiet, so I’d recommend it for a good night’s sleep while traveling.

We only needed somewhere for one night while passing through town, and this was great value when we were in a pinch. It was clean, had a big smart TV with internet, and had everything we needed for the night.

The way we were treated was humiliating. After we raised the problems, the receptionist reacted badly and insulted us with extremely foul language. The manager came up soon after and told us to leave if we weren’t happy. There were no bath towels or spare ones, and the receptionist didn’t bring any. The shower drain was blocked, so water backed up and spilled into the room, making it impossible to shower. Also, the toilet and shower are behind a transparent door with small scratches, which makes using them impossible unless you’re alone. I went there with friends and have never had an experience like this. Avoid this hotel.

The owner became aggressive and threatening as soon as I got in touch about the problems, instead of trying to resolve them. The room smelled terrible, the shower was clogged, and the hotel wasn’t clean when I arrived. There’s no breakfast on-site or reception, despite what the listing says. You only get access instructions by email. I don’t recommend staying here. In response to the owner: the reservation wasn’t under my name, but I did stay there, and I believe I gave enough details to confirm that. I have documents and evidence of my stay. You can take whatever steps you think are appropriate. I’m not a competitor, and with the quality of this hotel, competitors have nothing to worry about.
