I lived here for five months. The rooms were nicely furnished, and there’s a decent gym overlooking the street. The location worked well for me, close to a beautiful chateau, Lidl, and a bus station just 4 mins away. They also lend out cleaning equipment and an iron for free. Don’t expect much life in the shared spaces or study room, though. Most students stay in their rooms. The rooms can vary a lot in layout, interior, and view, so what you expect may not be what you get. The building entrance doors were often left open by tenants and didn’t close automatically, unlike the doors to the shared areas. That seemed backwards for safety, since anyone could enter the building at any time. The reception staff changed during the week, and some were nicer than others. They were all so rigid about the rules that it drove me crazy at times. After flying all night from another continent, I arrived during the lunch break, something I couldn’t control. I waved to the receptionist through the glass door. She let me know I couldn’t come in until the two-hour break was over. I was standing outside with two suitcases and no key to my room, but she wouldn’t let me wait on a chair. I ended up sitting on the sidewalk, stunned, until a friend arrived and took me to her room. The common room with couches and a TV was supposed to be available until 11 pm under the contract. In my first month, residents had a party and left things broken, so management started closing it at 5 pm, sometimes earlier. They also shut the study room at 8 pm. When we complained, they said cameras made it hard to identify who was responsible, so they’d close the rooms for everybody. They didn’t care at all that we objected. There was also stress around cleaning charges. I lived in a collocation. One day, while we were out, staff checked the shared kitchen and found grease on the stove and inside the oven. They emailed us saying we had to clean it or pay 180€ each. When you leave, they can charge that much or more if they have cleanliness concerns, which makes a starting fee of 180€ unreasonable. You also have to take your pillows, bedsheets, and covers to a dry cleaner before leaving. If they do it for you, there’s an extra charge, so expect a fair bit of work when you move out.

I lived here for 10 months. It’s expensive, and the shared rooms sometimes get locked before their stated closing time. Washing and drying cost almost 6€ per load, and the machines sometimes don’t work. I lost about 20€ in total over time. Packages are also a hassle, since delivery companies have trouble with the reception closing at 17. There are useful things nearby, including a bus stop, grocery store, park, and mosque. The covered bike parking and gym are nice too, though the gym is advertised as open 24h and sometimes wasn’t open. I’d recommend this place if you study at kedge. Overall, I hope this review helps.

I had a frightening night here. Two strangers came into my room, and they clearly weren’t housekeeping staff. There was no internal lock on the door, so the room didn’t feel safe. I tried several times to reach the manager, but she was never available. The facilities were in poor condition, and I never got back the promised deposit. Staff kept making excuses to hold onto it, even though I’d spent the whole day cleaning and looking after the room. I give 0 stars in everything, especially the staff. The lack of service, the unsafe feeling, and what seemed like unethical treatment made this an awful experience. I don’t recommend this place under any circumstances.

I spent a semester at Sweetly IART Residence. The apartment was clean, functional, and generally fine, but the stay was frustrating. The administration was terrible. Reception never answered emails, so I had to go downstairs in person whenever I needed anything. It’s also inconveniently located, almost an hour from the city center, which makes it a poor choice for students commuting often. The final cleaning fee was the biggest problem. I was told the €180 charge wouldn’t come out of my deposit if I cleaned properly before leaving. I spent a day and a half doing just that, cleaning shelves, the bathroom, kitchen, and every corner. My flight was on a weekend, so I couldn’t check out in person, but staff had confirmed beforehand that everything looked fine. Once I was already in another country, they emailed to say they’d deducted the full €180 because the apartment wasn’t clean enough. When I asked for proof, they had no photos. They only mentioned a little limescale in the shower and a few hairs under the mattress. Charging €180 for that seemed completely unfair. They refused to discuss it any further, and I felt really taken advantage of. The apartment itself was okay, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

This was a terrible experience, and they were totally unreliable. My daughter had been scammed over the apartment she originally booked for five months in Bordeaux for university, so I contacted this provider looking for somewhere at the last minute. They offered a colocation for 600€ per month, and we agreed straight away. We sent all the requested documents and stayed in touch every day. Their emails and calls were positive throughout. A week later, when they were meant to confirm, they said by email that the original option was no longer available and offered another one at €965 per month. University student services recommend this provider, so I expected better. They showed no care for the student or for the impact of their lack of transparency.
