Gîte FLEUR DE VIGNES

We arrived for four nights and were welcomed so warmly, including with a taste of delicious wine. The Corkscrew gite is cosy, fully equipped, and tastefully decorated with lots of Hansi prints. It was also dressed up nicely for Christmas. We got plenty of useful advice on arrival, and the information folder has lots of handy tips. The village restaurant tip was a hit, and the winstub was tasty too. We had a fun wine tasting, with an interesting tour of the company and cellar. The wines are delicious. We'll definitely come back when the grapes are still on the vine 😊

We stayed for a week in a gite with the three of us, and it had everything we needed. The welcome was incredibly warm, and Rémy, Michel, and Maman were genuinely hospitable. We also got a lovely tour showing how the wine is made, followed by a tasting. The gite is in a central spot in Alsace, which made it easy to visit all those beautiful villages without long drives.

The gîte and the Kieffer wines feel beautifully connected, creating an experience with real emotion. That same artistic touch comes through in the wines, and in the thoughtful partnerships with authentic artists who designed the labels. The Kieffer family are exceptional hosts, with a real feel for art and clear expertise in winemaking. Our accommodation balanced comfort with clever use of space. Original artwork and careful attention to detail gave it a distinctive character, while quality materials were used throughout. It felt a world away from superficial home staging.

The apartment was clean, well arranged, and very well equipped. We were welcomed with a drink and chilled wine, and there was homemade cake on the table. The owners were exceptionally kind and helpful, and we also got a cellar tour and tasting. Perfect, really. I highly recommend it.
