Bhoma Budget Troyes Aéroport

I booked a room the day before and contacted the hotel because I was checking in late. They said my key would be in a box inside reception and gave me a code to get in. When I arrived, the code didn't work, and neither did the emergency number. I couldn't get inside, and nobody answered the phone. I'd travelled from the UK, was exhausted, and had nowhere to go. There was a note saying the hotel was full, so maybe they'd given my room to someone else. I've never had a problem like this. It's inconceivable. At 1 am I had to look for another room. Absolutely avoid this place. A terrible experience.

The room was a little tired, but clean. WiFi worked well, the shower was powerful, and parking and access to restaurants were convenient. The receptionist was a lovely, friendly young man who spoke excellent English, which we hadn't expected but really appreciated. Cheap and cheerful, and great value for an overnight stop to or from the Alps.

In January 2026, I came back and found that both hotels are now run by the same company, BHotels. They offered me a room in the scruffy one for 49 euros or the smart one for 79 euros, and I chose the smart one. I ate there too, and the food was GREAT. For context, until recently there were two hotels on opposite sides of this small road near the airport, which is a small regional one. Another plus is that you don't have to drive into town, so you're closer to the motorway. This place needed a major update since my last visit and review several years ago.

The service was polite, and the room was clean and modern. We really enjoyed our one-night stay while on a motorbike trip south. There was even a security camera pointed at my bike in the parking space outside. Very cheap for what you get. I'd recommend it.
