Hôtel le Gentleman

The rooms felt like peaceful retreats, with plenty of space, stylish furnishings and a comfortable mix of classic and contemporary decor. From the lovely linens to the carefully chosen furniture, everything seemed picked for comfort. Some rooms look onto the charming streets of La Flèche, while there’s also a serene courtyard to relax in. The building’s restoration brings together old French character and modern comforts beautifully. Hotel Le Gentleman is a wonderfully restored place to stay in the heart of La Flèche, and Pascal clearly takes great care with it. He’s attentive and genuinely thoughtful with guests, and his knowledge of the area makes it easy to get a feel for what La Flèche has to offer. He also has a particularly impressive selection of champagnes. I’d gladly stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable visit in France.

The buffet breakfast was superb, and the service was polite, friendly and helpful. It’s in a good spot, close enough to the centre for restaurants and bars, with very little noise. The building is interesting, and the rooms are spacious, with high ceilings, broad windows and decent bathrooms. There’s a nice garden and private parking at the back, plus a terrace for evening drinks. I’ll definitely return. Thanks!

A lovely 14-room boutique hotel in historic La Fleche, a beautiful city with an amazing zoo. The decor and service were both exceptional, and the staff were friendly. It’s a great place to stay while exploring the attractions nearby. Some of the attached photos show places around the area, including Chateau Chenonceau.

The rooms were very tidy, though breakfast was basic. It’s a pain that you can’t arrive before 16:00. There are plenty of dinner options at nearby restaurants, which was fine for us since the hotel doesn’t serve dinner.
