The location is gorgeous, but the welcome was very unfriendly. The rooms feel old, tired and unclean, and breakfast was miserable.

A lovely hotel with a beautiful river view.

We had a fantastic two-night stay at the mill. Our room was beautiful, overlooking the Orne River and its dam, and the shared breakfast was lovely. Virginie gave us a warm welcome. Thank you, and sorry we couldn’t say goodbye in person. Friends who come to hike in Clécy will have a great place to stay!

The rooms were clean, with private bathrooms and showers, and the 140 cm double bed was comfortable. There’s no air conditioning. The setting is lovely, the owner welcoming, and restaurants are less than 200 meters away. We stayed at Moulin du Vey for three days.

Breakfast was delicious and very generous. The owner was pleasant and friendly, and took excellent care of us during our stay. The well-kept property sits among greenery on the banks of the Orne River, near a small waterfall.
