Campanile Lens

The food was poor, and a glass of beer cost me about 10 Canadian dollars. They also overcharged us for the meal, though the waitress apologized and corrected it quickly. I don't think it was deliberate. Our room smelled bad and was small, the air conditioning didn't work, and they had no fan when I asked. The beds were badly made. Outside our door, cigarette ends had piled up beside a hedge that badly needed attention. It was hard to find the place from the road, and I wouldn't book it again. The management really needs to take responsibility for problems like these.

The rooms were nice and clean, and the hotel itself was lovely. Getting there on foot from the train station is tricky, though. The route crosses a major highway with no sidewalks, so keep that in mind if you're walking.

The burger was cooked really well, and I'd recommend it. The room wasn't great, and the food didn't match what I've had at other hotels in France, but it was good enough for what I needed.

We arrived late and the staff handled everything very efficiently. The rooms were clean, the showers were good, and breakfast was great. The whole operation felt slick and just right.
