The RAC took a while to sort out our vehicle and hire car, but the hotel let us check out late at no extra charge. The staff were also really helpful with our friend, who had mobility issues. Our recovery driver had recommended the place after the RAC couldn’t find us anywhere to stay. Everyone was welcoming and helpful during our visit. Great service, thank you all, and sorry we didn’t get to say goodbye in person 😁👍

The restaurant was a real draw, with fresh, local ingredients and a seasonal menu. We spent two nights at this lovely, charming hotel, where Angelique and Thomas made us feel very welcome and were always helpful. Thanks so much for the hospitality. We’ll definitely come back.

The bed was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly enough when we arrived. But the rest of the place felt neglected: mouldy sealant around the bathtub, a bedside shelf torn off and never replaced, no bath mat, and a smelly hallway. The hotel was tatty and run down. When we couldn’t connect to the wifi, all we got was pretty much a shrug. It was late on a Sunday, or we’d have left straight away to find somewhere else. I’m sorry, but apart from the bed, I can’t recommend it.

The lunches are good value, and the staff and owner are very welcoming. A lovely, old-fashioned hotel restaurant. Highly recommended.

A pleasant setting, with good French food and friendly, good service. We had a lovely dinner with the family, and it was good value for money.
