I’d stay here again. The apartment was spacious and nicely decorated, and the location made it easy to walk everywhere. It wasn’t badly priced, and there was a pleasant lounge and reception area, plus a cosy restaurant and social space.

The hotel was exceptionally quiet, and only about a five-minute walk from the main square, with its cafes, restaurants and pubs. I had a really enjoyable stay. The place was spotlessly clean throughout, and the staff were kind and helpful. My room was clean and had everything I needed to feel at home. In the lounge and breakfast area there are board games and a billiards table to use whenever you like. There’s also a kitchen guests can use to cook, with a dining area for meals, plus free filtered still or sparkling water and coffee.

The hotel is in a good location, and the staff were friendly, but it felt poorly maintained and managed. When it rained, staff had to place buckets around to catch leaks. The fire alarm was tested while we were in the room, and later one of the devices had to be removed because it kept making an annoying sound every 60 seconds. Reception staff quickly took care of it with a small ladder. The room didn’t match the pictures. The shower had a curtain instead of glass, so water got onto the floor. There was no bathroom cupboard, and the cupboards in the kitchen and for clothes need renovating. The hotel felt overrated.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, including the helpful people in the breakfast room. Breakfast was simple but good quality. We could walk to everything we wanted to see, and the hotel itself was beautiful and clean. Our apartment was spacious, with somewhere to hang clothes, a safe, a coffee machine with two pods, a dishwasher and a large fridge. The one gripe was the air conditioning. It was advertised in the room, but its temperature is controlled for the whole building, so I couldn’t adjust it. I was too warm and slept with the window open, and now I’m covered in mosquito bites.
