The location is very good, next to the house where the Virgin Bernadette used to live. Staff were nice and helpful. Rooms are small, but the shower and sleeping comfort were good, and the free WiFi was very good. There’s no fridge or kettle in the room. Reception and breakfast are at the neighbouring Hotel Helicante across the street, and breakfast there is very good. Parking outside is paid from 9 am to 7 pm. Google Maps directions aren’t very good. Drive to the Notre Dame entrance, cross the bridge east, then go down toward parking Quai East. Before the Italian Restaurant, turn left into the very narrow street. The hotel is just after the bend. See picture.

A good base for riding the TET, with clean rooms and friendly staff who are happy to help. There’s a garage where you can keep the bikes secure overnight. Plenty of restaurants and bars are nearby if you don’t want to eat at the hotel.

The location is the best thing about this mediocre hotel. It’s convenient for the Sanctuary and only a 10-minute walk from the Train station. The room was very small, and the shower even smaller. Ventilation could be better, as the room was far too warm at night during summer. You also have to cross the building to reach breakfast in the morning.

I arrived late in the evening and collected the key and some instructions from reception at nearby Hotel Helianth. The room was tiny, with two single beds and a bathroom, as expected. There was no AC or fan, but the weather let the room cool down comfortably. The shower had hot and cold water, the bed had a nice bounce, and the linen was clean. The tiny elevator worked. It was a functional room for sleeping and resting between days out touring. I skipped breakfast at €9 per person. The WiFi was easy to use and worked.

Basic but comfortable, with very kind staff. The owner and family run the hotel. It’s a three-minute walk from the main Rosary Basilica compound.
