It was clean, and you get nearly what you'd expect for the price, hence the three stars. The AC didn't work. I was in a front room, so it got a bit noisy late at night and early in the morning. The continental breakfast was decent. I'd stay again, but would ask for a room at the back.

The rooms weren't clean and smelled really disgusting.

One star for F1 in Maçon, half a star for Limoges. We stayed in Maçon on the way south and in Limoges on the return trip. Maçon gets one star because the floor had carpet and was at least bearable, without needing a microscope. In Limoges there was laminate flooring, and your shoes stuck to the grime. The shower and toilet were very unhygienic, and the walls were paper-thin. And then there were parents letting their kids run down the hallway at 6am. We've crossed “it can be cheap because it's only for one night” off our list.
