The breakfast buffet is the best, and management keeps the property clean and well maintained. We’ve stayed here many times over the years and keep coming back to these ibis hotels, ibis budget, ibis, and ibis Styles, whenever we’re in Montauban. Excellent property.

Breakfast was excellent, and there’s outdoor seating. The three hotels next to each other, ibis classic, budget and styles, share a huge parking area, fitness facilities, a swimming pool, and one restaurant. What differs is the room and breakfast. The staff could be better trained: I should have received a free drink on arrival, but nobody even offered one.

The hotel is really dog friendly. They even let us bring our dog into the restaurant, and it’s ideally placed for the motorway. Our dinner, bed and breakfast rate was good value, though dinner only had one main course choice and was just okay. Breakfast was great, the rooms were basic but clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. I’d definitely stay again.

Breakfast was probably the best thing about our stay. One warning, though: the website only shows the renovated rooms, while family rooms and ground-floor rooms are in the older style. With 37-degree heat and no ventilation, it was miserable. The broken strobe lights in the pod bathroom made using the toilet or shower feel like a silent disco torture session.

We stopped for a quick lunch while charging the car. The choices were lasagne, Pinsa, or CroqueMonsieur. The staff were friendly, and tap water was free.
