Every detail at this bed and breakfast feels considered, even the handwritten breakfast labels. It looks and feels like a place from a Better Homes and Gardens magazine. Marie is a wonderful host who makes everyone feel at home.

We especially enjoyed breakfast each morning, usually outside in the lovely green garden. Marie and her family are thoughtful, warm hosts. Maison St James is a beautiful house, with large, cool rooms, high ceilings, and simple, stylish decor. The quiet location is still just a short walk across the bridge to the town centre, with shops and transport nearby. We had a lovely few days there this summer and would highly recommend it.

Marie and her family were attentive and made the B&B feel cozy. We had a great stay. It’s about a ten minute walk to the city center, and finding street parking was no problem. The decor is thoughtfully put together with authentic pieces. Our three bed room had a top-notch bathroom that had been modernized perfectly.

The garden is lovely, and the city center is only a 10 minute walk away. Marie was such a nice host, and our room was perfect in this lovely typical French guest house. She suggested a Vietnamese restaurant on the same street. We picked up the food and ate in her garden. Breakfast was very good too!

Marie gave us a very warm welcome to this beautiful old mansion. The children playing in the garden made the place feel comfortable and homely right away. Our recently renovated room had plenty of comforts, and the breakfast Marie served was tasty and generous. A nice place to stay. Rudi&Nadine
