Breakfast had both sweet and savoury options, including bread, eggs, cheese, yoghurt, croissants and marmalade. The owners were really welcoming and even packed extra food for my journey, plus they gave me ideas for things to do nearby. It’s a cosy little B&B, just a five-minute walk from the little yellow train station. I was there in August, and although the rooms don’t have air conditioning, closing the shutters during the day and opening the windows in the morning and evening kept things manageable.

We had a really nice four-night stay. The owners were friendly and helpful, and they’re starting some renovations. There’s a café and shop right there, and the central spot made it easy to explore the area.
