Camping de Fléchat

The staff were very friendly, but that didn't make the price feel justified. We paid 27 euros, I believe, which seemed far too much for what we got. We'd stayed at another campsite the night before, with panoramic views and a 4 star rating, for 16 euros, half the price. We'd booked a pitch by the pond, but despite calling twice that day, nobody told us it wasn't open yet. Instead they sent us behind the old caravans, to a spot we didn't like. The usual sanitary facilities were all closed, and they'd opened an old caravan with just one toilet and one shower for all the campers, maybe around five cars. We hadn't been told about this in advance either. The shower was too cramped for an adult and the kids, so we couldn't get them cleaned even though they were charged too. The toilet wasn't properly equipped: there was no toilet paper when we arrived, and the seat was covered in pee. In the morning, while I was using it, someone shook and banged on the caravan door trying to get in. An occupied sign might help. We'd understood in a few places that it was a 3 star campsite, but now it seems to have been downgraded to 1 star. We were touring the volcano park and had stayed at several different sites.
