Le Paradis

Two days before our vacation stay, we got a rude text saying the booking was canceled because they had a meeting with a supplier. We were left stranded, the Wonderbox wasn't canceled, and we never got our money back. The person on the phone had said there'd be a Wonderbox supplement and that the pool wasn't working. Somehow, every problem went against us. The booking process was strange from the start. They didn't reply to my first booking text, but when we tried from another phone, it worked. It seemed clear they didn't want our booking. A few suggestions: call anonymously, as they may be more likely to answer. Pay more. Don't bother bringing swimsuits. And have a backup plan, maybe a tent.

The owner's son welcomed us for a night in this lovely cottage. He was very friendly and showed us around a pleasant place in a beautiful village. If you're passing through the area, it's well worth a stay.

The heated pool was the best part of our stay. Swimming while 20 cm of snow fell outside and covered the landscape felt like a winter paradise. My partner and I had Gîte Le Paradis to ourselves because it wasn't booked at the time, which made the experience even nicer. The gîte is spacious, practical, and well equipped, with plenty of room to relax. It made for a magical, unforgettable stay, and we'll definitely come back. It would be a lovely choice for a romantic getaway or a family holiday.

The host was so attentive, and we really appreciated the warm welcome. We came as a large family reunion group and were delighted with the cottage. It's huge, clean, and well equipped, and the beds are comfortable. The pool was great too. They'd also taken care with accessibility: there are two entrances, plus a large bedroom with an adapted bathroom and toilet.
