Campanile Orleans Centre - Gare

The beds were comfortable, the rooms clean, and ours had a deep tub for soaking and a great city view from the balcony. We spent most of our time out enjoying all the shops and restaurants nearby, from fast food to gourmet Italian and sidewalk cafes. It's an easy walk to the statue of Joan of Arc and other historical sights, and the Metro stops right outside. There were books and board games for relaxing in the room, too. It was a little tricky to arrive by car because we hadn't asked the hotel for help. "Gorge" was friendly and understanding of our lack of French, explained parking and came up to get the TV working. "Meni" had a lovely breakfast buffet ready, with espresso, cheeses, pastries, cereal, crepes, boiled eggs and more. At checkout, "Cassandra" kindly gave us directions and told us where to exchange money. Everyone was professional and kind. I loved our stay and we'll be back. Tres magnifique!

A good spot for a couple of short nights right in the city center. The staff were helpful and kind, and the hotel had a warm feel that my girlfriend, who uses a wheelchair, also liked. I'm grateful we got good service at a good price.

The bed was comfortable, and the location was spot on, but I wouldn't stay here again. The room felt cramped, the old bathroom fittings could use replacing, and the air conditioning didn't work. The building's conversion from an older property means the walls are very thin and noise carries. Breakfast was poor. It did the job for my stay.

The rooms and breakfast were both just OK, and the rest of the experience felt pretty mediocre. The hotel is in the pedestrian zone, so getting there by car is awkward, and the parking garage is about a five-minute walk away. Drop your luggage at the hotel before parking. Once checked in, though, the location is excellent, right in the city center.
