Accueil Hotel Paris Pigalle Montmartre

The hotel is comfortable and sits in a great spot, but the staff are what made my visit. I left feeling like I’d made some lovely new friends. I’d absolutely recommend it.

The good part was the location. At check-in they asked if we smoked, and after we said yes, they gave us a balcony. That was about it for the positives. Work was going on in the café next door, and we could hear everything from 9 a.m. The hotel has almost no soundproofing. Breakfast was supposed to run until 10, but when we came down at 9 there was literally nothing to eat. We complained and were told it wasn’t their fault because someone hadn’t done the shopping. I’d paid for breakfast, so I expected to get it. Someone went out for croissants and baguettes, but that was all. A very poor breakfast. They shouldn’t be using the “ibis” name. Pick another hotel.

We had a quiet night’s sleep, even with several nightclubs nearby, and the staff were really sweet and helpful. The location gets a 10 out of 10, close to the metro and within walking distance of Montmartre and even the city center. Our room was a little small, as expected, but everything else was perfect for our two nights. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in Paris.

It’s a three-star place, so the rooms are small, but that’s what you’d expect at this price. In Paris, you’d have to pay a lot more to get a big room. Ours was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff and location were both great. The metro is very close, and breakfast was pretty decent too. A comfortable stay that covered everything we needed.
