The breakfast was very good, and the hotel was clean, well located, and staffed by very friendly people. A couple of things were uncomfortable: the elevator is so small that two people with suitcases can’t get in together, and the shower faucet points in a direction that sends water against the wall instead of into the shower.

You can’t beat the location and price. The service was excellent, and my room was spotless. I was on the 2nd floor with a lot of street work going on, and the morning noise sometimes made it hard to sleep. I should have asked to have the air conditioning switched on.

The place was neat and organized, and perfectly fine for a few days. My room was a bit shabby, though not awful, and the reception guy was polite and helpful. Out of nowhere, an alarm went off around 3 am and woke me up. I have no idea why. That wasn’t much fun.

A charming, typical Parisian hotel in a very nice location. There were only two coffee pads in the room, which was a shame. Still, we’ll visit again next time.

6/10
The location is good, with metro and train stations nearby. The rooms are tiny, and the bathroom is tiny too, though adequate. The bed is made from two single mattresses pushed together to form a queen, but they’re too soft and worn down. The carpet in the room is old, and the wall-mounted hair dryer is awkward to use.
