Citadines Opéra Paris

A clean, comfortable, welcoming hotel that worked wonderfully for our family. The Metro station is only steps away, and we could walk to many attractions. It was extremely convenient for exploring the city.

The location is great, but the service was absolutely terrible. I admit the wallpaper damage was my fault, but it was a small area and the hotel charged me 500 euros. That feels completely unreasonable, especially since locals in Paris told me similar damage usually costs around 100-200 euros. I asked the receptionist to email me the invoice and they said they would, but I still haven’t received it. It’s hard not to feel they may be trying to take advantage of me, and the missing invoice makes the charge even more suspicious. Do they think it’s fine to ignore guests because we’re foreigners? I won’t drop this and will keep sharing my experience in reviews. Be careful with this hotel, they’re scammers.

We only stayed four nights, so we had to change our own towels, but that wasn’t a problem. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and it was a great place to stay. Highly recommend the hotel.

The suite I booked was so cramped you couldn’t walk around the bed. The bathroom was split into two separate parts, and the hotel entrance was uncomfortable. There’s no luggage transfer service or anything like that. For stays of two or three nights, there’s no cleaning service, and they don’t replace the towels either, so you have to change them yourself. The price is very high for the service and doesn’t feel worth it. The reception wasn’t cooperative or flexible, and the place didn’t suit Gulf tastes or the needs of Gulf visitors.
