Hotel du Sentier

The breakfast was delivered to our room, which was nice, but I don't think it was worth the extra cost. It wasn't very filling, mainly croissants, fruit, yogurt, and drinks, and eggs and similar items cost extra. One night, the bathroom ceiling also leaked. Even so, we'd highly recommend Hotel du Sentier. Everyone was friendly and accommodating and made us feel at home. The room design gave it a lovely Parisian feel, and the central location felt safe, with a cafe/restaurant attached and plenty of little restaurants nearby. The staff were communicative and responsive. We arranged flowers, balloons, and a cake in the room for my mom's birthday, and they did an amazing job. We could reach them on WhatsApp while we were there. Thank you Hotel du Sentier for the warm stay, and thank you to Katherine, who was an absolute sweetheart!

We stayed four days and truly enjoyed it, despite a handful of maintenance problems in our higher-priced room. The circular rug around the bed was ugly and badly stained, one of the two sinks wouldn't stopper, and the reading light on one side of the bed didn't work until I fixed it myself. Water leaked from the shower enclosure onto the marble floor. The A/C worked well, but made a noticeable intermittent pumping and groaning sound. We didn't raise these issues because they weren't deal breakers, though they did point to a general lack of maintenance. The view over the little triangle below was fun. The hotel is a lovely small place in the 2nd arrondissement, well situated for walking to many notable spots. The restaurant is very good, and the staff there, as well as the hotel staff, were friendly and helpful. You can order breakfast online through the hotel website so it’s ready when you arrive, or just show up, though that disrupts their planning.

We spent six nights here on our honeymoon, and it was a lovely, charming choice for our first visit to Paris. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout. The room was gorgeous with a pretty view, and it was clean with a super comfortable bed. The location is great, near the Metro and within walking distance of lots of restaurants and patisseries. Would highly recommend!

The staff were nice, and the room felt cozy with a great view out the window. They provide free coffee that you can make right in the room. A super nice stay!
