Hôtel Alyss Cambronne Eiffel

The staff were incredibly friendly, cheerful, and helpful, and checking in and out was quick and easy. The room was quiet and had a mini fridge and kettle. There’s a lift, though it starts at the third floor. It’s a gem for a couple of days in central Paris. Cambronne on Metro line 6 is a four-minute walk away, and from there you can get to CDG by taking line 6 to Denfert - Rocherau and then the RER B. Breakfast is basic, but there are coffee shops on the same street, including one just a door away from the entrance. Carrefour city, a fruit and vegetable shop, and Subway are all nearby too. I’ve found my new place to stay in Paris.

Hotel Alyss was a lovely change after a nightmare with our previous accommodation. The place we’d booked through booking.com had been double booked, communication was terrible, and we didn’t feel safe staying there. Booking Hotel Alyss directly on its website was quick and easy. When I called to ask about leaving our bags before check-in, they immediately had all our booking details and were really helpful. We arrived at 11am to drop off our luggage. The room wasn't ready, which we hadn't expected it to be that early, but the staff were so warm and apologised profusely anyway. They clearly wanted to do everything they could for us, and that meant a lot. Our room was clean and tidy, the shower had good pressure, and the air conditioning was great during the hot weather. The Metro station is a five-minute walk away and well connected. Everything we wanted for a Paris stay. I’d definitely recommend it.

Handy for a short tourist trip, with a good location, fair prices, and very friendly, helpful staff.

Nothing amazing, but nothing bad either. It's a decent, comfortable budget hotel close to the attractions, and I'd book again if I wanted a cheap place. We arrived a day late, and the receptionist was very helpful and still accepted us without charging for that night. The WiFi is a bit slow, the rooms feel somewhat stuffy, and the walls are thin.
