Hotel Bastille Spéria

We loved the cute, comfortable rooms and the beds were very comfortable. The location was great too, just a short walk to the metro and steps from good restaurants. We stayed five nights as a family of four, using connecting rooms. The main inconvenience was how the connection worked. They were two separate hotel rooms linked by an outer entrance that was basically a closed-off extension of the main hallway. We used doorstops to keep the doors between us and our two children under 10 open, so we wouldn’t get locked out of each other’s rooms. But the entry hall light couldn’t be turned off. We eventually worked out how to keep the doors mostly closed, but it would be helpful if that light could be switched off, or if there were a way to leave the connecting doors unlocked and close them without getting locked out. It was a minor issue in an otherwise wonderful stay.

Juan and Sarah were great, and the woman in the breakfast area was so kind, though I don’t know her name. Everyone at Hotel Bastille Speria was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and a good size, and the area felt safe with plenty of places to eat. I’d stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

The rooms were cute, comfortable, and clean, and breakfast had lots of delicious options. We loved our stay and the location was perfect, with the metro station very close and nearly everything we wanted to do within easy walking distance. We’d definitely come back and highly recommend it.

We were just steps from the Bastille metro, surrounded by restaurants and cafes, with shopping along Rue Saint-Antoine. The location was excellent, and we’d recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Paris and the cool, chic Le Marais district. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit, baked goods, cheese, and more, a great start to the day. The staff in reception, housekeeping, and breakfast were friendly and treated us very well. We especially appreciated being able to check in early on arrival and having the staff accommodate a room change. We stayed at Hotel Bastille Speria for five nights and couldn’t have been happier with the exceptional service. If we travel to Paris again, we’d stay here.
