Hotel des Pavillons

The staff were kind and respectful, and I found them easy to understand in both English and French. For me, the price and location were a perfect match ✨

It's a basic hotel without a fancy entrance or a bar, but it served me very well and was a good price for the location. I never saw any other guests while I was there, and it was silent at night, even though the Arc is hectic and busy after dark. My room looked onto a little courtyard and other rooms. It was small, but the bed was a good size and very comfortable, and the air conditioning was great. The bathroom was compact, but had what I needed. The TV only had French channels, though I was too tired to care. The hotel is just down an avenue from the Arc De Triomphe in a quiet spot. At first I worried the area might be too quiet at night, but it worked out perfectly. There's a little grocery shop on the other side of the hotel, and the CDG metro nearby is a major connection point for getting around.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and made our stay more pleasant. The hotel was also very convenient, with a grocery store next door, restaurants, a bakery, a small convenience store, and other things we needed on the same street. The Metro station is very close, as is a shuttle bus stop for airport transfers. We were looking for somewhere safe, quiet, clean, and comfortable, and the hotel met those needs. I travel often and know how much a good night's rest matters. The one issue was our mattress, which was so soft and wobbly that if one of us moved, the other woke up. That shouldn't be a problem if you book separate beds.

Clean rooms, a great location, and service that was perfectly fine. What I appreciated most was how kind the classy lady at reception was.
