The service was excellent, and they held my luggage for me. It’s a clean hotel that’s good for sleeping, though the bathroom and shower are small. There’s no elevator, and I was on the top floor, but that didn’t bother me. It’s near the metro, though a bit far from the city center. I’d stay again.

I was there in 2015, so this could be out of date, but it seemed like a decent budget hotel. The neighborhood felt welcoming, and the front desk staff were friendly and as helpful as they could be, even though their English wasn’t great. My room was on the top floor. There’s no elevator, but I didn’t mind the exercise. Everything was clean and the shower worked fine.

We thought we’d read on the website that there was a skydeck, but there isn’t one. The room itself was charming and very clean, and they changed our towels and made the bed every night. Charging by the person instead of by the room seemed a little strange. I’d recommend it and would stay again.

I spent a week at the Hôtel Ermitage while in Paris for a conference. From my single room on the top floor, I got a great view over the city. It had the basics: a wardrobe, desk, sink, bed, and TV. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. If you want somewhere cheap with a no-frills, hostel-style room, it’s fine. If you expect a regular hotel experience, you’ll be disappointed.

Good for the price, but a kettle for boiling hot water would be better. There are narrow stairs to climb, so getting luggage up to the top floor could be hard if you have a big bag.
