Hotel Galileo

We stayed February 23-26, 2026. The room was big and warm, with everything we needed, and the sheets were changed every day. There was tea, coffee, and a Nespresso machine that could also be used as a kettle. The people were very discreet, and breakfast was brilliant, six stars out of five! I've stayed in other places in Prague, so I know what I'm saying. Very nice location, close to the tram.

We had a simple, smooth experience leaving our luggage at the hotel while we spent the day in Paris. Annie greeted us warmly, explained the drop-off options and prices, and was friendly throughout. She also suggested places to visit, easy ways to get around, and somewhere to eat that would work for vegetarians. When we came back, our bags were ready within a few minutes. Djalal was just as helpful, letting us wait in the lobby for an hour until our taxi arrived and offering us the use of the toilets. Excellent service from two lovely staff members. The hotel feels luxurious and classy, and it's close to iconic monuments. The staff were so kind and accommodating, with hospitality I'd rate 10/10. Best hotel I've stayed at in Paris, and I'll definitely come back. Thank you all, you were amazing!

We were at the hotel for five nights. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the rooms were a good size and kept clean. We still had an enjoyable stay, and Prague is beautiful. It's about a 25 minute walk to the old town, with quite a few hills, but there are lots of lovely coffee cafés along the way. Breakfast was limited for English tastes, with scrambled, poached, or boiled eggs on toast, but we managed. The receptionist we dealt with seemed miserable, with no hello or goodbye, just took the keys. A little more customer service would have been nice. The fire alarm went off during our stay, and the staff ran around without seeming to know what to do. Nobody came out to tell us it was safe to go back in. After about 10 minutes, we went inside assuming things were okay, then the alarm went off again. Staff need more fire alarm training. If there had been a real fire, it could have been catastrophic.
