Hotel Jules & Jim

The neighborhood has plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants, and design boutiques, and I felt safe there. Jules & Jim is also beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and peaceful, which made coming back after sightseeing feel like a real break from the crowds. I especially enjoyed the courtyard and the carefully put together breakfast room and bar. The drinks were lovely in that cozy setting, and breakfast was fresh and high quality French food, far from the usual continental spread. The staff were friendly and professional throughout. The calm atmosphere, great location, and thoughtful hospitality made this a wonderful stay. Thanks, Jules & Jim. I’d happily come back and recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet place in the heart of Paris.

The hotel was clean and very good overall, and the staff were friendly and easy to approach. We were disappointed by breakfast, though. The only eggs offered were boiled, with no other preparation, so it didn’t feel worth the price. Paris has plenty of good cafes and patisseries nearby. We also missed having a bidet in the bathroom.

We spent five lovely days at this gem. Walking around the neighborhood was a joy, and the location was just right. The rooms were beautifully arranged, and everyone at the hotel was pleasant and helpful.

The street is fairly quiet at night since most businesses close before it gets too late. You can walk to the main attractions, and the metro is close by. There are also great places to eat just a few doors away, from a fluffy Japanese pancake spot to a vegan cafe and a bakery with delicious chocolate ginger cookies. The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. They’re a bit compact, but that’s expected for this area. The staff were very helpful throughout our stay. I feel lucky we found this hotel and would definitely recommend it.
