ibis Styles Paris Eiffel Cambronne

The staff made my stay, especially Florian at reception, who was always friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and well located, and I found the room comfortable and well organized. Breakfast was very good too. I had a great stay at ibis Styles Paris Eiffel Cambronne, and I’d definitely come back and recommend it.

I had no problems during my several-night stay, and the bed was made neatly every day. Gael was especially kind and welcoming to me as an international guest.

The room smelled like poop, and in the first room we were given, we found used men's underwear under the mattress. The cleaning was terrible and the service was really bad. The cleaner spent an hour in our room, but we still had to ask her to refill the soap, which she’d forgotten the day before too. I think she may have taken a nap in there, because she definitely wasn’t cleaning for an hour. Staff gave us different information, and breakfast was the worst I’ve ever seen. It was freezing in the breakfast area and lobby. The hotel says Eiffel in its name, but the walk to the Eiffel Tower is 20 minutes. It’s ridiculous that it can charge so much just for the location when everything else is terrible. There were also big trash bags right outside the entrance.

I booked three nights, from November 8 to 11, 2025, but left after just one. The room had no hot water, so I had a freezing cold shower, and the sliding toilet door wouldn’t close. I had to sleep facing an open toilet with a cold draft coming from it. The toilet was also missing tissue paper, which was never replaced. I spoke to the male receptionist, Mr Lunnes. He said he’d forgotten to tell me at check-in that hot water would only come through after leaving the tap running for 7 to 10 minutes. I told him I had tried that and still got no hot water. He said he couldn’t change my room and I’d have to manage. After paying so much, I had no choice but to check out first thing in the morning to avoid getting sick in the cold room with cold water. This hotel isn’t appropriate for any star rating, and staying here was a nightmare.
